Navid Akrami

Executive Manager

Navid Akrami is the executive manager of the Victorian Persian Arts Centre, which is established to help the love of Persian arts and culture flourish. He was previously the president of Adelaide Persian Arts Centre and executive manager of Persian Cultural Association of South Australia until he moved to Victoria. Navid brings a depth of both musical prowess and management experience to the centre:

·         Author of the book “Pleasant Piano of Iran”, 2004
·         President of Adelaide Persian Arts Centre from 2007 to 2009
·         Chief Executive Manager of Persian Cultural Association of South Australia from 2007 to 2009
·         Musician and Director of numerous musical concerts and festivals in Iran and Australia since 2002
·         Board member of South Australian Project Management Institute during years 2008 & 2009

Navid was born in Iran in 1983. He completed his bachelor of Civil Engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2006. Then he received his Masters degree in Project Management from University of South Australia in 2009. He is presently completing a PhD in Property, Construction and Project Management at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
